Review This 1998 album was the second by Destroyer, aka Dan Bejar. His alliterative, poetic (though not necessarily coherent) lyrics are what knock you out, especially on the slightly synth-laden folk pop of "No Cease Fires." His cryptic side comes out on "I Want This Cyclops." A nice slice of the surreal.
