Desmond's heard here with Chet Baker, Milt Jackson, Jim Hall, Ron Carter and a host of stereotypical1970s CTI production flourishes. He was dying of cancer when he recorded these typically beautiful tracks, but his saxophone playing was as lyrical, creative and beautiful as ever.
