Not content to be simply another loud/soft nu-metal band, the Deftones released White Pony in 2000. Showing a greater interest in melody and arrangements, the band created an album that held up to scrutiny. There is plenty old school Deftones fury on White Pony, but it's an album that showed they were not content just pandering to fans.
