Cher went in a more rock-oriented direction than ever before with this 1987 release, covering (and hitting with) a Michael Bolton power ballad ("I Found Someone"), a metal-ish remake of her '60s smash "Bang Bang," and "We All Sleep Alone," which was written by Jon Bon Jovi. The club hit "Skin Deep" foreshadows Cher's '90s incarnation as a dance pop diva.
