Review
Two previously unreleased Tjader concerts from 1960 on one CD. The first six cuts showcase what a superior (and underrated) mainstream jazz musician Cal was, while the final four cuts spotlight the sizzling Latin Jazz sound that made him a breakthrough star with the public and other musicians. As a bonus, Cal's solos are longer here than on most of his studio albums.
