Review
Though it's nice that Darin (a gifted mimic and impressionist) doesn't copy Ray Charles' singing style, his laidback vocal approach here doesn't exactly jibe with the pounding, unrelenting hard-drive of his ace band. That said, Bobby nails the ballads (like "Drown in My Own Tears"), which is odd since he's usually better on rhythm tunes than torch songs.
