Review
The title track quickly became one of Jobim's most famous (and covered) songs, but the rest of the tunes on this lovely album are almost as strong. Jobim contributes beautiful guitar and piano work throughout, and even leaves his usual melancholy behind on "Captain Bacardi" and the joyous "The Red Blouse." "Lamento," the only vocal track, deserves to be more widely heard.
