Review
Drenched in distortion, the Chicago institution's take on "Little Red Rooster" comes crashing in like Jimi-meets-the-Wolf. From there Allison tones down the freak-out a bit but loses none of the power during a set of unsettling, 100% negative energy blues. The incredible picture on the cover is just one reason to check out Allison's 1972 debut.
