Thanks to producer James Michael's throbbing, spectral mix, Alanis's cover of Seal's huge hit from the '90s comes on with both dancefloor ambitions and Morissette's characteristic rock touch. It's refreshing to hear Alanis (and her decidedly powerful voice) sing about something besides her personal perspective.
