Review
Redman's 1992 EPMD-produced debut album established the New Jersey emcee as a serious force in hip-hop, thanks to his rowdy delivery, charismatic wordplay and funk-heavy tracks. Whut? is rock solid from start to finish; it includes two of his best songs: "Time For Sum Aksion" (once used by Mike Tyson to introduce a fight) and the ultra-smooth "Tonight's Da Night.
