Comprising Jacksonville super-producers C.C. Lemonhead and Jay Ski, the Quad City DJs are responsible for some of the most bottom-heavy (and explosively popular) tracks ever to come out of Florida. After getting their start working with various FLA artists in the early 1990s, the two scored an enormous hit producing the multi-platinum single "Whoot! (There It Is)" for the group 95 South. Following that victory, they collaborated with the 69 Boyz for their hit "Tootsie Roll." The Quad City DJ's released their first proper LP, Get On Up And Dance, in '96, and continue to craft 808-fuelled, bass-saturated party anthems for a variety of Sunshine State acts.
