Review
As usual with Elvis' gospel material, this is a beautiful, thoughtfully conceived record. Bolstered by a soulful chorus and a razor-sharp backing band, Elvis sings with astonishing energy. One can make a case using this record and How Great Thou Art that Elvis didn't really want to sing unless the material was gospel. For the saint and sinner alike.
