A much-overlooked emcee and producer, WC has been slinging quality hip-hop tracks since his early days with Low Profile. He dropped several albums with the Maad Circle throughout the '90s, delivering solid West Coast street tales and quality beats. In 1998 WC teamed up with fellow L.A. reps Cube and Mack 10, forming Westside Connection and releasing the hit "Bow Down." His first solo album The Shadiest One soon followed, maintaining his G status while slightly mellowing his sound.
