Shearing has recorded with plenty of amazing vocalists over the years, but this live session with the lovely Miss Peggy Lee remains his finest collaboration. Lee's sensitive, swinging and streamlined approach is matched by Shearing and his sophisticated quintet. As a bonus, there are two studio cuts that are every bit as good as the concert material.
