Born and grew up in Feltham, Middlesex, U.K. Sister to Kathy Hope and Christine Hope.
Member of The Hope Sisters or She, and eventually Ellie, she left the sibling trio to join Babe Ruth and meet the bassist and her future husband Ray Knott. The two of them formed disco group Liquid Gold.
