Bert Jones was an organist extraordinary from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He began playing the piano at age 5 and moved on to the organ at age 7. He started formal study of the organ at age 13. He later graduated at Houghton College and studied further at the Western Theological Seminary where he obtained the degrees B,D. and Th.D. When he was ordained as a Minister his skill at the organ and at the easel enabled him to present the Gospel in an unforgettable way. His unique organ stylings can be described as 'Paintings in Sound.'
