fendermen

Formed in 1957-58 by Jim Sundquist and Phil Humphrey in Wisconsin. Took their name due to both of them using Fender guitars. Sundquist and Humphrey parted ways in 1961 with Phil Humphrey continuing to use the name The Fendermen, poaching members of Canadian rockabilly band The Rock-A-Tunes to back him until 1964.
