A master of no-holds-barred murder rap, Sacramento's X-Raided has been stirring up controversy with his hardcore death rhymes since '92. His first album, Psychoactive, was actually used as evidence in his murder trial, where he received a thirty-one year sentence for his role in the home invasion/killing of an innocent woman. He recorded his second album, Xorcist (1995) over the phone from prison, and his devoted fan base continued to grow. Still incarcerated, X has released several more records from behind bars, and is considered by many to be an originator of the ultraviolent Sac-town rap style that's still popular with C-Bo and Brotha Lynch Hung. In 2001, X-Raided released Madman Records The Initiation.
