Listening to a band like Total Chaos makes you want to go out and do precisely what the band does sonically -- run amok, shred rock 'n' roll to fast and furious bits, and spit into the face of anything that sounds remotely like Punk Pop. Maybe that's because the boys of TC have attitudes the approximate size and weight of cinder blocks sitting on their pyramid-spiked shoulders. Their fiery brand of punk rock is an aural challenge to anyone to try and knock them off and remain standing. Every song leads the listener through scorching drumming that leaves your teeth chattering, bass that swims in pools of aggression, and dual guitars that grate and whine at all the right moments before blasting into overdrive. It's positively destructive, all of this ultra-fast, hammer-heavy, brute strength put to music. It might just be the only thing that'll save the barely breathing spirit of Punk Rock.
