Irish pop group formed by Neil Hannon of The Divine Comedy and Thomas Walsh of Pugwash.
The band is named after a cricketing term, the 'Duckworth–Lewis method', a mathematical formulation designed to calculate the target score for the team batting second in a limited overs match interrupted by weather or other circumstances.
