Corky Siegel was one-half of Siegal-Schwall Band, a blues act whose career began in the mid-1960s. Siegel took care of the percussive end of things (in addition to harp and piano) while Jim Schwall handled the rest. Not a blistering act by any means, the Siegal-Schwall were known for their quiet, eclectic approach. Siegel's eclecticism continues today with his work with Chamber Blues, who attempt to fuse classical and blues music.
