Playing what they call "rumba catalana," Sabor De Gracia have more ecstatic, life-altering fun on a single album than any band should be allowed in a lifetime. Hailing from Barcelona, these guys have all the hallmarks of flamenco heavy-hitters: the gruff, 50-cigarettes-and-a-cup-of-coffee delivery, the jangly guitars and a willingness to always bump the tempo up a notch or two if it will make people dance. They attempt to slow themselves down with a few nods to bolero, but ultimately these dudes are a dance band, fusing flamenco with Afro-Cuban rumba and making the world sparkly again in the process.
