The Moscow Boys' Choir was founded in 1957 by Professor Вадим Судаков (Vadim Sudakov) (1935-2007), Honored Art Worker of Russia, Georgia, and Abkhazia, the most prominent domestic choir conductor. The chapel was formed on the initiative of the Moscow Musical Society on the basis of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute (RAM) named after the Gnessins. From 1972 to 2002 The choir was led by an outstanding teacher, People's Artist of Russia Ninel Kamburg (1940-2002). From 2002 to 2011, the Capella was led by her student, Honored Artist of Russia Leonid Baklushin (1965-2011). Currently, the head of the Capella is Богдан Петренко (Bogdan Petrenko).
Since 1966, the team has been operating on the basis of secondary school No. 122, and since 2013, on the basis of school No. 1234. |
