This was Bill Monroe's original Bluegrass and Traditional Country outfit which he put together with his brothers Charlie and Birch back in 1932. With upfront mandolin leads, deep fiddle swipes, and close harmonies that cut through the rest of the music, the Monroe Brothers had a chemistry that revolutionized how Bluegrass music was played.
