Just because you're a working-class musician from Jersey doesn't mean you have to sound like the Boss. You can also sound like the Everly Brothers, as do brothers Mike and Bob Delevante of the East Coast Roots Rock outfit, the Delevantes. Produced by E Street Band's bassist Garry Tallent, the Delvantes play bleeding mixtures of Rockabilly Revival, Country Folk, and pop songs. The end result is a soaring, sonic gumbo that No Depression enthusiasts are sure to enjoy (as much as anyone else who digs the rootsy stuff).
