Spiraling out of the now-legendary Ska outfit Operation Ivy, DHC went for a considerably lighter sound from the beginning, eventually featuring twin female vocals and a bright, winning sensibility. Over the years the band has toyed with traditional Ska and harder rock influences, deepening their impact without sacrificing the contagious energy that is their trademark.
