One of Argentina's biggest stars, Andres Calamaro got into music when he was just seventeen. After a stint in Raices, he joined Los Abuelos de la Nada and helped propel the band to stardom in the early '80s. He went on to form the extremely popular Los Rodriguez in 1991. A master songwriter who penned innumerable hits for his bands, solo success eluded Calamaro until the '90s.
