| Post punk/New Wave band with moderate ska influences formed in Hamilton, New Zealand 1979. Trailblazers for the live Post Punk/New Wave scene in the Waikato district in the early 80s. The classic lineup was; Dave Sykes, vocals and rhythm guitar; Martin Fisher, lead and rhythm guitars; Ken Emery, bass and backing vocals; Terry Edwards, drums; Phil Hirst, keyboards. Other members were David Reid and Joe Flynn. The band released one single in 1982 and an EP in 1983. Both were self released. The band evolved into The Human Lawnmowers in 1983. |
