Record Collector's Grading System

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

CDs & CASSETTES: As a general rule, CDs and cassettes either play perfectly - in which case they are in Mint condition - or they don't, in which case their value is minimal. Cassette tape is liable to deteriorate with age, even if it remains unplayed, so care should be taken when buying old tapes. CDs are difficult to grade visually: they can look perfect but actually be faulty, while in other cases they may appear damaged but still play perfectly. Cassette and CD inlays and booklets should be graded in the same way as record covers and sleeves. In general, the plastic containers for cassettes and CDs can easily be replaced if they are broken or scratched, but card covers and digipaks are subject to the same wear as record sleeves

Return Policy

If the order is lost in the mail:Please contact after 15 working days if your item has not arrived for a refund or replacement
If the order is damaged in transit:Please supply photo`s of damage sustained so an insurance claim can be made a full refund will be given upon receipt of damaged item
If you ordered the wrong item:return wrong item for a replacement
If we made an error with your order:Please contact to discuss
Return shipping will be paid by:If the item was not as described we will pay the return postage for all other cases the Buyer is responsible for postage

Seller Information

Grading - Vinyl / Cover
NM - vinyl will be as new - it may however have very light sleeve marks / Cover will be as new
VG+ -May have very light marks but no discernible affect on audio / Cover may have slight wear & tear
VG - will have visible marks & play with crackle but no Skips/Jumps / Cover will have edge &/or ringwear
G+ - will have many marks & play will background noise & pops etc but no Skips/Jumps / Cover will be damaged in some way
We generally answer any questions within an hour between 8am - 8pm 7 days a week
We are happy to provide Pictures and/or sound clips of any item listed.
We simply do not have the time to play most of the items we list so condition is visual only
All vinyl listed as played has been graded using Pro-Ject Carbon Turntale Denon Amp & Headpones

We will ship Internationally but please contact for quote before purchase
To Italy & Russia we will only send using a fully insured & Tracked Service which will be expensive.
All Standard Shipping is Based on weight
All items will be dispatched Same working Day if payment received before 3PM
We use a combination of Royal Mail,Hermes or other 3-5 day Courier depending on the size of order
We do offer a Domestic 24 hr service via Royal Mail/Parcel Force this service however is at extra cost
We obtain proof of postage for all orders
Tracking numbers will be provided if you require a tracked service
Payment
We Accept PAYPAL as our preferred Payment but can also accept Bank Transfers,Cheques,Postal Orders or Cash on Collection
NO goods will be shipped until payment has cleared
We Will Ship Worldwide but please contact before purchase to obtain a quote for costs
Returns
Returns are Accepted on all goods within 30 days of purchase
Refunds are only payable for goods returned in Original Condition With all packaging complete & As New
in the case of receiving faulty goods a refund will be made upon receiving the faulty item along with
a brief description of fault etc.
In ALL cases of returns the BUYER is responsible for all postage and packing costs
it is also recommended you acquire a proof of postage slip from Post Office or send via a tracked service
as we cannot be held responsible or offer refunds/replacements on items lost in the post.

Please Note if your package arrives damaged that is not our fault we use dedicated standard vinyl mailer/stiffeners & plastic sleeves for ALL orders - in those cases we will require pictures of damaged item so that we can make a compensation claim against the relevant couriers,refunds in these cases may take a little longer than normal
