The Quartetto D'Archi Di Paolo Borciani consisted of the surviving members of the Quartetto Italiano - Paolo Borciani (violin I) and Elisa Pegreffi (violin II), and members of the Giovane Quartetto Italiano - Tommaso Poggi (viola) and Luca Simoncini (violoncello)

This was Paolo Borciani's last recording before his death

At least three otherwise identical "not for sale" Limited Edition variants exist - identified and numbered on the bottom left corner of the back cover:
- 300 numbered copies reserved for the Teatro Municipale R. Valli in Reggio Emilia (Italy) (this)
- 500 numbered copies reserved for l'Associazione Sergio Dragoni, Milan
- 1,200 numbered copies reserved for the Società del Quartetto di Milano
