Still Sealed - Never opened, as it came from the factory
NM - Opened but probably not played, no sign of usage
VG+ - Possibly some very light surface scuffs but inaudible
VG - Occasional audible sign of usage, but still quite listenable
VG- - Obvious usage but plays fine
G+ - Usage obvious, with more audible usage, possible clicks & pops as it plays, for the person who just wants to have the item
G - More usage, clicks & pops, for the person who just wants the item in any condition
G- - Just to add to a collection when no other copy is available
Cover ratings are usually a grade lower than the disc
