How does this service work?
The seller will ship the Memorabilia to the digital conversion center in Arizona, USA where it will be format shifted onto a recordable CD directly from the Memorabilia only for your ears. The Memorabilia and the recordable CD will then be mailed to you. The digital conversion center will not retain any copies of the item.

Motorhead, the iconic heavy-metal band's striking album artwork for their 1979 LP Bomber was carefully created by an illustrator. Lemmy, Fast Eddie Clark and Phil Philthy Animal Taylor are shown inside the cockpit of a Heinkel in the Blitz. Lemmy, himself a collector of WWII memorabilia, insisted the plane be German. The illustrator explains: I suggested the Heinkel plane. They wanted this photo-realistic effect, so I designed the thing with the detached bomb coming towards you. I worked in airbrush in black and white, which I would then tint, he adds. That's why my work always looked very doomy. To get the lighting right, I got a little Airfix kit of a Heinkel 111, made it up and sprayed it black. I then photographed the model to get the reflections underneath. When you work realistically, you've got to have a realistic reference. The album sleeve made such an impression the band insisted on a remarkable 40ft Heinkel replica to accompany them on stage for their now notorious Bomber 92 tour. It's the most famous cover I've ever done. The album was released on October 27th 1979, reaching number 12 on the UK charts. To mark the 40th Anniversary, Airfix is pleased to offer a version of its latest Heinkel with the Bomber markings included, and with the special Anniversary box lid. This is a very limited edition, it sold out the day it was released. The item is Mint condition and the box has only been opened to photograph the contents. The plastic bag HAS NOT been opened.
I use the Record Collector Grading System. I rarely grade anything as Mint. If 7" and 12" singles have a PS it will be noted in the description. A grading of EX for a cover does not mean that the cover is a picture sleeve. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. ------------------------------------------------------------ EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. ------------------------------------------------------------ VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. ------------------------------------------------------------ GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. ------------------------------------------------------------ FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. ------------------------------------------------------------ POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. ------------------------------------------------------------ BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler. ------------------------------------------------------------ CDs: CDs are graded visually and any defects will be noted in the description. I do not grade plastic CD cases as they are easily replaced, unless they are Digipaks or Custom Card sleeves, in which case they will be graded as vinyl covers. 78s: 78s are graded visually but, as is well known, even a perfect looking 78 can have surface noise. I try to provide an audio grade in my 78 description but I don't have time to do every one. Please contact me about any item and I will be happy to give you an audio grading. Return Policy
Lost In Post - If an item is lost in the mail, or damaged in transit, a refund or credit will only be given if the item has been sent by Signed For postage. Damaged In Transit - See above. Wrong Item Ordered - If the buyer has ordered the wrong item then I am happy to offer a refund of the purchase price, minus the postage, once I have received the item back in the condition in which it was sent. The customer is responsible for the return postage.
