MusicStack has partnered with a vinyl to CD conversion service who will convert the LP to recordable CD for you. It will sound great with no annoying clicks, pops or background noise. All recordable CDs come in a standard jewel case with artwork printed on glossy paper.
How does this service work?
The seller will ship the LP to the digital conversion center in Arizona, USA where it will be format shifted onto a recordable CD directly from the LP only for your ears. The LP and the recordable CD will then be mailed to you. The digital conversion center will not retain any copies of the item.
What does it cost?
Price of the LP + $35 USD for the conversion to recordable CD + cost of shipping of the LP to Arizona + cost of shipping of the LP from Arizona to your location paid in advance.
Ultra-rare (I know of only three copies) album by well-known 60s songwriter who teamed with Alan Gordon on classics like "Happy Together." The rarity is because Calla is an early tax scam label, akin to the rarities on the BT Puppy and Perception labels. This is every bit as rare as, for example, the New Hobbits or the Bow Street Runners. To make things more interesting, Bonner's partner Alan Gordon has an album on the most famous tax scam label of all, Tiger Lily. That album sells for well over $1000. This album is probably even rarer and is equally good (or better.). It's excellent 60s pop, similar to their hits but a bit more soulful. This is most likely the only copy you'll ever see on Music Stack. My price is low for this kind of rarity for two reasons: it's not a known entity, and there's some warping-- it does not affect play on my stereo other than a bit of wavering on the first revolution or two--but this is sold as is.) Cover has a punch hole and very minor ring wear on the back. LP is clean but plays with a bit of noise in some spots. VG+ is a conservative grade. Really good record! "Saddest Bank Hold Up" is especially good.
Below is my basic grading scale. I will also describe specifics of the gradings in the listings. SS Still Sealed Never opened. And flaws will be described in the listing.
M- Mint Minus Has been opened, but is still essentially flawless with no damage whatsoever. EX Excellent A clean record. Plays like new but may not look as perfect as a M- record. Cover may have very superficial wear. My EX (particularly on the vinyl) is like most sellers' M-. VG++ Very Good Plus Plus A record that plays mostly clean with perhaps a few spots of light noise. Cover may have minor wear (bit of ringwear, a name written on cover or label, minor fraying at edges, etc.) Records at this level are generally good enough copies for collectors who are not mint freaks. VG+ Very Good Plus Vinyl: A record that plays with a minor amount of noise. Cover shows signs of normal wear: may be taped, have a seam split, ringwear, etc... Not bad, but not ideal either. VG Very Good Vinyl: May crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but is not louder than the music. Will not skip. Cover: Has cover wear such as ring wear and split seams, writing, maybe some minor tears. Similar wear to VG+ but more of it. VG- Very Good Minus Generally not a good copy of an LP, one only worth buying for rare records. Surface noise throughout, maybe even a skip or two. Cover is well worn in many ways. P Poor Trashed.
