On this live 1968 session, Michel LeGrand shows off his strengths as a solo improvisor, working his way through several fluid, upbeat numbers. His work on the keys is strong and mannered, and it's got a slick style that comes through on original pieces like "Watch What Happens" and "Los Gatos.
