Review
Alan Paul from the Manhattan Transfer selects his favorite O'Day Verve tracks. O'Day was a well-rounded vocalist but Paul concentrates on her wilder, bop-fueled side on this overview. O'Day's wild, "beyond scatting" on "Two For Two" is amazing.
