Review
With this superb 1969 release, the premier bop guitarist of the 1950s proved that he had easily mastered the far-reaching experimental jazz favored by such labels as Impulse! and Blue Note. Kessel is completely on fire here, and he's on equal footing with vibraphonist Bobby Hutcherson, drummer Elvin Jones and bassist Chuck Domanico.
