Named after legendary Dodger pitcher Sandy Koufax, these Midwestern upstarts surround their indie sound with bouts of New Wave synths and piano. Think Joe Jackson as a scruffy emo kid without the suit and tie but with the sarcastic pop attitude and the keyboard pounding. Led by songsmiths Robert Suchan and Jared Rosenburg, the band has reconfigured itself in recent years and now includes former Get Up Kids brothers Ryan and Rob Pope (drums and bass, respectively).
