| | Sula Miranda was born in the city of São Paulo, on November 12, 1963. She is a Brazilian singer, songwriter and presenter who has been successful since 1986, singing country music. She is the sister of also singer Gretchen, and the aunt of actor Thammy Miranda.
She started her musical career in the group "As Mirandas", together with her sisters Yara and Maria Odete (Gretchen) and later became the quartet As Melindrosas with the inclusion of her friend Paula. The first LP "Disco Baby" was a huge success, reaching the mark of 1 million copies sold.
Sula Miranda, always had a strong presence on stage. It drew audiences from 30,000 to 100,000 people at each show. With her charisma, prestige and credibility she became one of the greatest singers of the sertanejo style, a true icon, being highly sought after in the country for advertisements and advertising campaigns.
