| Canadian big band leader, singer (for Xavier Cugat) and songwriter related to the publisher Amber Music/Amber Music, Inc. and DavAnDon Music (ASCAP). Born September 28th, 1911, Montréal, QC, Canada. Died in Sept. 1996.
He is also credited as a game show creator, as he originally developed College Bowl as a USO activity created for soldiers serving in World War II. In the 1950s, the game was then developed into a radio show, and later for television as the G.E. College Bowl.
