Review
With Gracias a la Vida, Mercedes Sosa cemented her position as one of the great Latin American singers of the 20th century. Subtle but never boring, this album sees Sosa at her best, interpreting the songs of her contemporaries and backed by simple, mostly acoustic instrumentation. Inviting and timeless.
