This 1960 release was the last of three studio LPs that Frank D'Rone cut for Mercury Records, who was hoping the talented singer would be their Frank Sinatra or Bobby Darin. D'Rone doesn't possess Sinatra's depth or peerless skill, but he treats ballads better than Bobby. Master arranger Billy May penned the charts on this glimpse into the classic age of pop.
