Ekova vocalist Dierdre strikes out on her own and comes up with a semi-gothic album that highlights her supple voice and unconventional approach to songwriting. Dense electronic textures support vocal flights of fancy that bring to mind the Cocteau Twins. Check out "Close To Us" and the electro-folk of "A Maid In Love.
