An innovative DJ/producer out of Phoenix, Z-Trip has been rocking shows and parties since he was just 13 years old. He formed the Bombshelter DJs with his AZ cohort DJ Radar and they soon built up a nationwide following due to their creative mixing abilities. After releasing several independent projects (including a Future Primitive Sound Session mix), Z-Trip hit the big time with 2001's DJ P collaboration, Uneasy Listening. Chock-full of bizarre-but-fresh mash-ups (long before they became trendy), the limited edition CD was bootlegged repeatedly, won rave reviews and made Z-Trip a household name amongst hip-hop aficionados across the globe. The following year he appeared in the documentary Scratch, and hit the tour circuit hard, playing huge festival crowds and opening for the Rolling Stones and Wu-Tang Clan among others. In the spring of 2005 his long-awaited major label debut Shifting Gears hit the scene, further raising his profile as one of the game's most original and talented DJs.
