| Matthias James Thurow (born 25/8/1949, in Tübingen) started in music as guitarist with the 1960's psychedelic combo the Royal Servants, who later became the Krautrock band Eulenspygel. After Eulenspygel's demise, he then went on to work with Wolfgang Dauner's Et Cetera as bassist, and various other fusion bands in the mid-1970's. In those early years, Matthias proved his worth as a multi-instrumentalist, also playing violin, sitar, Mellotron and flute. Yet it was still a surprise that he would later go on to work solo as a computer synthesist. |
