A solo rapper from Sacramento, C-BO first appeared on Tupac's All Eyes On Me, and soon began releasing albums at a break-neck rate. Between '94 and 2000, he had nine records under his belt, all of them deeply rooted in ultra-violent gangsta fundamentals. He also made history for being the first emcee jailed over his lyrics, (the court found them to "promote gang violence" -- a violation of his probation). Unfazed, C-BO continued to record, while his fanbase continued to grow. With many so-called Gs are merely fakin' the funk, C-BO's hardcore felonious flow is the real deal.
