Monkey 101 existed in the pre-internet age. An indie noise rock band from Philadelphia, Monkey 101 achieved instant cult status with their 1990 7” single “French Feelings” and “Now That You Have Left Me” released by Siltbreeze Records. Their only full-length album Rusts, Smuts and Heart Rot (recorded in the early 1990s) was remastered and released on vinyl in 2021 by Sister Raygun Records.
