| (February 26, 1933 - November 29, 1976) was an American comedian and actor. In 1949 he received a four-year scholarship to Hofstra College to study medicine,which he attended for three years before dropping out to pursue a career in acting. Cambridge died of a heart attack at the age of 43 while on the Burbank, California set of the ABC television movie Victory at Entebbe, in which he was to portray Idi Amin. |
