Moonhop have been selling records internationally for over 20 years.
Webmaster, Chas Mannell, was a regular writer for
"Record Collector" magazine's "Digging For Gold" column (a long time ago!)
He was also the original drummer for Wellington punk band, The Ambitious Vegetables and Kiwi popsters, The Mockers, as well as a key member of 90's skasters, Skapa.
Murray, the big fellow in the pics, was a commercial fisherman in the Chatham Islands, a builder in Australia and Canada and a bouncer(security guard) at seminal Wellington band venue Billy The Club (aka The Rock Theatre). He practices the martial art of Wing Chun and the fine art of falling asleep in the shop on quiet afternoons :)
