TRIO HARMONIA Vinyl Records and CDs

The Trio Harmonia was formed in 1958 by José Peralta and Hermenegildo Mendes who played in a School Harmonics Orchestra, conducted by the German Prof. Siegfried Sugg, and by Raul Mendes who was a student of Thilo Krasmann. In 1962 they won their first International Competition in Trossingen (Germany). In 1963 they recorded a 45 rotations record and won again the title of World Champion in Strasbourg (France). José Peralta leaves in 1966 due to professional duties and is replaced by Carlos Pais. The 4th EP is published in 1968 by Telectra. They win another world trophy in 1969 (Winterthur), Carlos leaves and is replaced by José Correia. The last of the 5 titles was won in 1975. The Trio finished in 1982/1983.
