| | From the legendary Fokus techno parties to his residencies at Australia’s world-renowned Honkytonks and now Revolver, Mike Callander has made a serious impact in his home city, Melbourne, Australia. In 2006 the success of his long-standing residency at Honkytonks, one of Australia’s best-known clubs, earned Mike the opportunity to mix the club’s first and only DJ-mix-CD, entitled “Honkytonks: The Last Dance”. In 2008 he launched Haul Music alongside Craig McWhinney and Christian Vance, and more recently the bandcamp label mikecallander.com for more personal projects. In 2012 Mike co-founded the School of Synthesis alongside BS1 producer and Australian techno veteran, Davide Carbone. |
